What Brendan says about my work

"Hello, my name is Brendan Ring, I am a professional musician and maker of uilleann pipes. I have had my compositions recorded by many leading Irish and Scottish musicians, including Flook, Solas, the Teacherous Orchestra etc...and most of the tunes I have composed on Colin Goldie’s whistles. In my opinion his whistles are unquestionably the finest available. The craftmanship is perfect but because he is such a fine musician himself, and has such a deep understanding of the subtilities of each individual musician, each instrument he makes is a unique reflection of the player. In my contacts with Colin and Brigitte, I have found them both to be passionate and dedicated in a way that is rarely found today. They and their magical skills, are without a doubt one of the founding blocks of my music."
