How To Order

As my instruments are hand made, I have all the freedom to customize them while building them, so if you have an idea about how you wanted your instrument to play and sound then let me know in an email or give me a phone call and we can talk through what you are looking for and what can be done or not. If you are not sure you can fully rely on me in helping you find the right whistle for you.

Easiest to place an order is to send an email, saying so. When placing your order please give your full name, address and if possible a telephone contact so that you can be contacted differently than just via email. You will receive an acknowledging email for your order. Due the actual work situation in the office our email reply times are long at the moment and we encourage giving us a phone call if you do not hear from us within a couple of months or longer.

I ask for arranging payment at the time the instrument is ready to be shipped out. You can choose to pay via SEPA bank transfer which inside the EU usually is without any additional costs on both sides. Alternatively credit cards like Visa or Mastercard work. I would take your credit card details over the phone when you have choosen your whistle with me, so never send these details in an email.

There can be a waiting time involved, this varies depending on the models you are looking for. The average waiting time at the moment is 4 months but for some keys this can be sooner or later.

Additional to the listed prices of the instruments I charge the actual costs of postage. Parcels can be shipped worldwide. The average postage cost is about € 8 inside Germany and outside Germany varies depending on the receiver's country, weight and value of the parcel. To give you an idea on average costs for shipments inside the European Union are about € 22, to the Americas about € 32 and Asia/Australia about € 35.

If you live outside the European Union you may be charged customs and incoming fees when receiving the instruments, please educate yourself on this so that there are no unpleasent surprises when the instrument arrives at your door steps.

RETURN POLICY

My aim is to make the best suiting instrument for you, however if you are not happy with the instrument we choose, please contact me and then it can be returned either for refund (minus the p&p) or for an exchange against an instrument with different playing characteristics. Obviously I would expect the returned instrument to be in as new condition. Make sure the parcel is insured in case a transport damage happens and arrange the return within 30 days after receipt.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

All whistles I made, including those under the Overton brand name, are covered by a limited lifetimie warranty to the original owner. This provides for repair or replacement in the case of defective materials or workmanship. Damage caused by abuse or misuse of the instrument is not covered. Any unauthorized repairs or modifications render the limited lifetime warranty void.

Whistles that are returned (with copy of the original invoice) will be either repaired or replaced at my discretion. If your whistle problem is not covered by the warranty, please do contact me anyway as I still may be able to help out in some way.

Please do not hesitate to email us for any questions you have. We will always try to answer back as quickly and best we can.
